Story
On Saturday 23rd September 100 firewalkers will be stepping up to the challenge of crossing 10 meters of burning coals reaching temperatures of 800 degrees all to raise money for Challengers.
Challengers delivers unique play and leisure services to over 1,400 disabled children and young people across the South East. At Challengers, disabled children and young people play, relax, make friends and challenge their impairments. At the same time, their families are offered a vital short break from the demands of caring to pursue ‘ordinary’ activities such as shopping or just spending time with their other children.
Raising £20,000 will mean children and young people can continue to access our services and play all day – making many more children smile and laugh over the next year!
