Following the loss of her 4-year-old son Billy to DIPG, a rare and devastating childhood brain cancer, Ellie founded Billy’s Battalion to honour his memory and help fund vital research. By sharing Billy’s story and building a supportive community, she has raised awareness of DIPG, supported families facing similar experiences and continued the fight for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
