Half Marathon Day, Sunday 8th March 2025 is the day before my 69th birthday and I will be 'celebrating' by taking part in the TTP CAMBRIDGE HALF MARATHON 2026.

A family member has recently been diagnosed with Dementia and the ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY has reached out and offered assistance. Therefore, I will be using this Half Marathon opportunity to give back by raising at least £69.00 for my 69th birthday.

TTP CAMBRIDGE HALF MARATHON 2026 - the course

The course is one of the most popular Half Marathons in the UK with the picturesque route taking you through the grounds of three Cambridge Colleges (St.Johns, Trinity and Jesus Colleges), Cambridge Town Centre, the villages of Grantchester (as in the ITV drama 'Granchester') and Trumpington. The event is so popular, all the available places are sold out within 48 hours!

In order to prepare for the TTP CAMBRIDGE HALF MARATHON 2026 I took part in the ALSAGER 5 (5 mile race, Sunday 1 February) and the LONDON WINTER RUN (10k race, Sunday 23 February).
