Story
Last January, our Sales Director, Dan Jewell, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a grade four brain tumour. Glioblastoma is the most aggressive and common malignant brain tumour in adults, with over 3,000 new diagnoses in the UK each year. Despite its prevalence, only about 1% of cancer research funding has focused on brain tumours in recent years.
To support Dan and the institutions that have been pivotal to his journey, TPers are setting out to raise £153,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, The Brain Tumour Charity, and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity through an initiative we call Challenge51.
Our colleagues are embarking on various fundraising events, including the Three Peaks Challenge, cycling from London to Brighton, a 51,000-step walk across London, and hosting the ultimate quiz night.
