This fundraiser is in loving memory of Jane, who passed away in January 2015 due to alcohol-related illness.

Jane was truly one of a kind. A larger than life personality who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her uniqueness, warmth, sunglasses and sari’s made her quite unfortgettable.

Every day in the UK twenty people die because of alcohol. It can affect anyone, from any walk of life but alcohol harm is not inevitable. With your support, change can happen faster.

The funds raised through this effort will go toward programs and resources that empower individuals to make informed decisions about alcohol, providing support for those who need it most.

We want to build a future in which people drink as a conscious choice, not a default; where the issues which lead to alcohol problems like poverty, mental health issues, homelessness are addressed; where those of us who drink too much, and our loved ones, have access to high-quality support whenever we need it, without shame or stigma.

This cause is deeply personal to us, and we hope to honour Jane's memory by making a positive impact on not only on our lives but anyone else who feels the pangs of wanting to change their relationship towards alcohol.
