Story
On 11th October, we're taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
We are running for Danny, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) on 20th March 2025, at just 39 years old. With two young boys, this wasn't the future Danny and his family imagined.
MND is a life-shortening disease that leads to a total loss of independence. It gradually reduces a person's ability to move, speak, swallow and breathe and there is currently no cure.
Despite the challenges MND brings, Danny continues to find the positives in each day. That has been made easier by the incredible support he has received from the MNDA. From practical advice and physiotherapy to specialist equipment, home visits and emotional support, the MNDA helps him adapt to the challenges of living with this awful disease, making each new hurdle a little easier to face.
By supporting our team, you'll be helping the MNDA provide vital support to all families facing this devastating diagnosis, while also funding research to find a cure.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference. Thank you so much for supporting our team and everyone affected by MND.
