Raising money for World Bicycle Relief

In many rural areas across the globe children are denied access to basic needs due to the barrier of distance. World Bicycle Relief’s mission is to provide sustainable, appropriate bicycles to mobilise and empower individuals and communities so they can travel to schools, clinics and markets.

Story

The WHOOSH team are preparing for another pedal power adventure- This time aiming to raise enough money to purchase 100 bikes for World Bicycle Relief

Cycling is a straight forward choice in our country, but in some parts of the world access to a bicycle has a massive impact on an individual and a community's fortune.

World Bicycle Relief is an award winning social enterprise that wants to break the barrier to education, healthcare and economic opportunity that many people face because of distance.

Their mission is to provide 'Buffalo Bikes' designed for challengng rural conditions and to set up a network of mechanics so that individuals and communities can travel to schools, clinics and market.

From the horses mouth a message to us all.
