First of all thank you for taking the time to check our “Simon Says” Just Giving page.
Those of you who knew, loved and lost our Cheeky Chappy Simon Turton will remember the moment when you heard the tragic news of his passing, leaving behind a beautiful young daughter Livy, fiancée Sarah, two devoted brothers Paul and David and a heartbroken mother Lynne.
Our memories of Simon will live with us forever, One moment in a lifetime, he touched us all in his own magical, charming, fun loving way, The treasured moments shared with him that make you smile, the laughter we all shared with him, his warm heart that reached out to everyone he knew, a small part of the legacy he left behind.
We lost Simon on April 26th 2011 to brain cancer a disease that effects millions of people, someone knows someone who has lost someone to this terrible disease. In his memory we have set up the “Simon Says “ page, dedicated to raising money in aid of Brain tumour research.(BTR)
We have set up this team page so anyone who wants to raise money for BTR in Simons memory can easily do so.
Our target is to initially raise £2740 which is what it costs to run the University of Portsmouth's centre of excellence who are dedicated to a three year programme of brain tumour research which needs £1 million per annum.
If we reach our target then Simons name will be displayed on the research centres "Wall of Hope" .
