A couple of months ago I was introduced to the devlopment chairty VSO and was offered the challenge of raising money with the target of £2350 and the goal of reaching Mount Everest Base Camp.
Since then I have become the Adventure Leader for Portsmouth University through the company Student Adventures whom organsies these treks. I have amassed a team from the glorious University of Portsmouth Mountaineering and Climbing Club to join me on this adventure.
The task now, up until we leave for Nepal, is to raise this rather large sum of monies. Through a great deal of team and individual work, calling on contacts and organisations both here in the city and back at our respective home towns we will achieve this target and head to Base Camp of the worlds tallest mountain!
