We all work at AXA and are members of our Head Office Charity Committee raising money for the fantastic cause of Macmillan Cancer Support.
One in three of us will get cancer and Macmillan provides a range of practical, medical and financial support to those who are suffering through this difficult period in their life.
So far as a team, we have raised over £17,000 this year through a variety of events and support from our colleagues but we won't stop there!
And so, on a bitterly cold morning on 9th December, we took on a winter challenge to raise some more money before the end of the year.
The challenge - dressing up in Victorian swimwear (no insulation!) and taking the plunge into the Serpentine lake at Hyde Park!!!
We may be mad, but it's for a great cause so please visit our pages below to make a donation and photo evidence of us on the day will be posted here after the event.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
