We need your support

We are asking all our supporters to help us raise much needed funds to continue to support adults with learning disabilities and help us celebrate 50 years since we opened the doors to our first residents. It is thanks to fundraisers, supporters, donors, volunteers, staff and residents and tenants themselves that has meant Acorn Village has been able to grow and continue to support and enhance the lives of adults with learning disabilities and hopefully will do for many more years.

We encourage and support adults with learning disabilities to celebrate any achievement big or small. Because of this we have created the campaign - Celebrate 50 YOUR WAY.

This is where we ask for your help...

Whatever challenge you would like to complete in life, this is your year. Whatever challenge, which may seem small to you, if it fills you with a sense of achievement this should be celebrated! All you have to do is create a sponsorship page, link it to this campaign and raise sponsorship for your challenge. Help us reach our target!!

Acorn faces a tough financial year. Under the budget coming into effect in April the combination of the rise in employer national insurance and minimum wage increase costs will see the Acorn Village having to find an extra £346,000 per year on top of normal expenditure. Acorn Village has always fundraised to bridge any funding gap to ensure it can provide the excellent care and support we are known for and we will continue to do so with help from supporters like you.

All funds raised enable us to continue the support and allow our ethos 'Life is for Living' to be achieved to it's upmost! Helping every adult to live their life to their full potential in a safe nurturing environment.
