QS ImpACT Charity equips young leaders to drive impactful actions through strategic collaborations with universities, organisations, and communities. We provide resources, scholarships, and recognition for youth-led sustainability initiatives addressing critical global issues.

Story

Every day young leaders across our QS World Merit council communities are working to tackle local challenges through their community projects.

In August 2022, QS World Merit Charity launched their first ever Live Impact Program connecting our council community in Niger to a youth team at Alt Valley Community in Liverpool, England. Over 10 weeks of cultural exchange, team building, and learning project management skills, the team built and implemented an English curriculum project in a school in Niamey, Niger to educate children under the age of 7 who otherwise don't have access to education. We are launching our full program in 2023 and welcome groups from across the world to get hands-on experience collaborating on a real-life project to tackle some of the worlds most pressing issues by contributing to an impactful and measurable live project tackling a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
