Story
Spending time in nature is proven to have a powerful, positive impact on mental health. From reducing stress and improving sleep to boosting your immune system and overall wellbeing, getting outdoors truly makes a difference – and it’s even better when shared with others.
The Edale Skyline Challenge is more than just a hike. It’s a chance to come together to raise awareness of mental health and vital funds for Birmingham Mind, while taking on one of the Peak District’s most iconic routes.
This incredible hike is around 32km and loops around the picturesque village of Edale. Along the way, you’ll experience wide open moorland and incredible views, with climbs up Kinder Scout, Mam Tor, the Great Ridge and Lose Hill, and finishing back down in the village of Hope.
Every step you take helps Birmingham Mind continue to provide vital mental health services across Birmingham. So lace up, speak up, and step out for mental health!
