Include.org is a small inclusive communication charity supporting 400+ people with learning disabilities and/or autism, their families and carers through activities and training which: Promote inclusion and wellbeing Empower people with communication needs Develop communication skills with individuals, services and communities Include’s projects are developed by Speech and Language Therapists and delivered with the help of 50+ volunteers – including Supported Volunteers with disabilities. The projects bring people who have understanding and speaking difficulties together with the wider community to develop shared understanding.

20% of the UK population will experience a communication difficulty in their lifetime.

Being able to express yourself and be understood is fundamental to safety, wellbeing, opportunity, and identity.

People can end up feeling lonely, isolated, anxious, lacking confidence and may struggle to maintain good mental health.
