£10raised of £200 target by 1 supporter

Weʼre raising £200 to help Abingdon Bridge.

Abingdon, UK

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The Abingdon Bridge is a charity which wants to increase mental health awareness in and around the Abingdon area. We are looking to raise money for this local charity which has affected hundreds of people's lives. They help people suffering from addictions, those in abusive situations, and those going through divorce to name a few. They also help support people's futures - whether they choose university life or an apprenticeship or they decide to enter the world of work. Other work they do includes going into schools to do workshops on internet and drug safety.

The money we raise will go towards improving the quality and availability of the therapies and counselling they offer. Our team is also working on improving the Abingdon Bridge's website and social media profile to help them reach a wider range of people and to increase their internet presence.

As well as having this page we are also doing multiple bake sales, a car wash, as well as setting up a concert in which mental health talks from charity reps will take place interspersed with music from some local bands.

This charity does so many good things for so many people and we hope that you will take some time out of your day to donate - big or small.
