£50raised of £10,000 target by 3 supporters

Weʼve raised £50 to help fund a new community hall behind St Mary's Church in Hardwick

Funded on Friday, 31st August 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

St. Mary's church in Hardwick is building a community hall for use by village groups and families in Hardwick. We are aiming to create a warm and welcoming space for community events, clubs, parties and meetings. There will be a main hall with patio doors opening out to the garden area, a small meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities. We have already raised approx a third of the cost. Thank you to all those who have donated so far. We want to start the build this year so really need your support now for the final fundraising push before we submit our grant applications. We are having our annual fun and friendly 10K sponsored walk, run, cycle from Great St Mary's in Cambridge to St Mary's in Hardwick.

Me, Ali Marcus is running. Yes, you heard right. RUNNING 10K. It's not going to be pretty. It is going to be sweaty, wobbly and take a long time. Please will you give me an extra incentive to keep going to the bitter end?
