£5raised of £500 target by 1 supporter

Weʼre raising £500 to Show support for the 78yo gentleman protecting his home from burglars. Criminals have more rights than victims in this country!

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

This poor old gentleman tried to protect his property and possibly his life... now he's the criminal!

My aim, hopefully shared by the whole country, is to show solidarity towards this gentleman, to show understanding and that we realise these events of burglary not only take vulnerable people's faith in humanity and the legal system but it also takes their life! It makes them feel forever unsafe in their own home and often leads to health issues or worse!

Im trying to raise money so this gentleman can have a holiday, get some decent security cameras.... maybe even move house to feel secure again and have a fresh start (Given enough is raised and of course he feels the need to do so?).

How is a 78 year old man expected to use 'reasobable force' against younger, stronger armed burglars?!

The LAW may not be his side, our side when it comes to protecting our lives, family and propert but i know i am on his side 110%!

He should be commended for bravery, not made out to be a murderer. There'd have been no problem had theives not believed they could break into his home, steal his worldly belongings and terrify him. Criminals get more rights than victims... with burglary and violent crime on the rise and cuts to Police etc what else is someone of such an age to do? Cowar and let some scum take their stuff and frighten them to hell?!

Hopefully a nice little countrywide community effort and understanding will help him and/or his family through a hard stressfull time.

Humanity, understanding, support. I dont know his name yet but i support him and hope to help put even just a little bit of his life back into some form of normality.
