My partner cliff age 36 has suffered with mental health issues since childhood. He has been through some traumatic experiences in his life which has led to his mental health problems. Throughout his life he's been prescribed a range of antidepressants which have had no effect. Just over a year ago the death of his Nana triggered a breakdown and brought all of those past bad experiences to the surface and things started to go down hill very quickly. He started to selfharm and attempted suicide so we got in touch with the GP and they sent the MH crisis team out they gave him the diagnosis of BIPOLAR he started going to counciling but they referred him to see the psychiatrist who told him it's not BIPOLAR because how rapid his mood could just change she gave him a new diagnosis of BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER. Cliff is holding a job down to support me and our three small children which he does really struggle with on a daily basis but he needs to go to work because that's the only thing that keeps him going it helps keep him busy otherwise there probly would be more suicide attempts. The NHS have said they can't help him because he has a job and they want to see him 3 times a week but cliff can only do one per week as he works away. Cliff does need to keep in work as if he didn't he would no longer be with us it gives him a purpose in life. Cliffs BPD is servere and he is in desperete need for treatment so no I am asking for help to pay private as the NHS have failed him. If I am totally honest if he doesn't get help soon I don't no how much longer he will be here for he as also said this him self. THANKYOU
