Weʼre raising £200 to support LLS students access life changing opportunities.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
As some of you may know, for the last 10 years myself and my colleagues at LLS have been improving the career prospects of young people across the North West and now as far as China and Qatar through the vehicle of sport. Our courses help children from some of the most deprived areas reach their dreams in gaining employment in the sports industry at home and across the globe whilst enjoying unique experiences along the way.
Unfortunately some of our students can’t access the funding to access these unique opportunities that can help change their lives. To change this I’m taking part in a company wide initiative of raising some funds to help some of the most disadvantaged. The money raised will help support them to buy kit, take part in trips, get to and from collage, access job interviews and even in some cases offset some of the cost of travel to get to our global employers.
How can you help?
On 15th July, I will be taking part in what is probably going to be the hardest mental and physical challenge that I have ever faced, Ironman UK. For the last 26 weeks I have committed myself to a 30 week training plan that will put myself in a position to cross that finish line. 5am starts and 11pm finish times have been a part of 15-18 hour training weeks, alongside my usual working day. I have been able to do this with some unbelievable support and training partners along the way to complete the 2.5mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a full marathon for good measure.
I would like you to take part in a competition that I am running based on you guessing my finish time with all the proceeds going towards providing our students in a variety of ways so they can do things they may only have once been able to dream of.
It will be £2 per entry and the winner will bag themselves a nice £30 for their effort (closest time to the second wins). To take part, please donate £2 to the link below and then message me to confirm your time in HH:MM:SS.
Thank you all and good luck :)
Please note, i'll be posting the name of the person next to the time guessed in a spreadsheet to keep things fair.
