What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

We are a small registered charity with a modest project initiative in Palda (Orissa, India - one of the pooreset states of India), where we are working toward changing the life of a small farming village. Our aim is to raise the necessary funds for them to construct a community hall. As you can see from the photos, the foundation of the hall has already been laid by the villagers but they now need our help to finish it quickly.

The Community Hall would serve as a place of shelter, education, medical advice assistance, communal showering, and a place of social gathering and worship. Currently, there is no electricity in the village so if we manage to raise enough funds, we can fit a few solar panels to provide the necessary power as well.

If you feel you would like to donate to the cause, please do so, but irrespective, we thank you for taking the time to read about it.
