i have been a lone parent for 12 years to the most wonderful son i could have ever been blessed with.
his father was unfortunately killed in a car accident when my son was just four years old. Since then it has always been just us. Ive never been offered or asked for any help with the rasing of our boy. I have gone without and done everything in my power to provide my son with everything he deserves.
my sister, my best friend has always been there for us. Was presant at my sons birth and has always been there when i needed her even as little kids. she emigrated to australia 8 years ago and gave birth to my first nephew neary 3years ago. she has managed to come home three times since moving. Everytime has been so special to us as facetime ince a week is never enough.
i have been saving to spend chrismas and new year with our family in australia. Its been a very hard struggle and time is now running out to book our tickets. I unfortunately made a silly decision to help someone i thought was a friend last christmas. I lent this person a chunk of our holiday fund i had been saving to help her buy christmas pressants for her children as she had no money. I really didnt think it was right these children should do without at chrismas. So i borrowed her £500. Since november last year ive only managed to get £140 back. She has now blocked my number and deleted me from social media. Im gutted i had worked so hard to save this money and now it is gone.
I suffer from servere depression and anxiety and attend therepy once a week to try and get the old me back. I would really like to take this trip so myself snd my son could have an amzing christmas with our family. I would really appreciate any help to acheve my goal thank you for taking the time to read our story
