Weʼre raising £500 to Help fund art therapy boxes for victims of Manchester arena Bombing last year 22.5.17
- Manchester, UK
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
This year I organised #LoveMCRBees and came to realise how many people have got depression anxiety and ptsd amongst other mental health issues caused by witnessing the Manchester arena attack on the 22.5.17.
My aim is to help those survivors by providing and posting out art therapy boxes. These would either include some colouring books (adult ideally as very detailed so time consuming) and colouring tools. And or rock painting kits.
I'd like to make as many of these as possible and post them out to people affected.
Rough costing of packs would be around 20 to 30 pound each including postage and packaging.
The people who were at the arena that night but not injured or killed have felt unacknowledged and often left to own devices from what I've been told and they sorely need a outlet for their feelings as they try and come to terms with what they went through.
Please even if you can only donate a pound every little helps.

About the fundraiser
On the 22.5.18 I with helpers placed 2.5k painted bee rocks in Manchesters St Ann's Square for people to take as gifts. This helped me realise how much art therapy would help victims of the arena attack. So I looked into ways to fund this. £1000 will find 50 boxes or more
