Weʼre raising £200 to Help save Larkrise Special Needs School in Trowbridge!

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

We are raising money for Larkrise Special Needs Primary School which is under threat of being shut down. We think this is a poor decision since we feel the children who currently attend school there will have trouble adjusting to the mega special needs school that the council plan to relocate them to.

The council plan to construct a big special needs school that consists of all the smaller ones in the area but we feel this would act as a hindrance for the children's learning as they're made to work in an unfamiliar environment.

We believe it is necessary that we raise awareness of the faults of this situation since we believe a suitable education is vital for proper transition into adult life.
