Story

So in April 2019 I will be spending two weeks in Zambia, Africa volunteering in a local hospital and community settings assisting and teaching nursing of children and neonates. I have spent the last 5 years dying to do this and share my skills and knowledge with those who are in desperate need of it and now my son is nearly 9 i feel i can go, with his encouragement throughout ☺️

The 2014 CIA estimated average life expectancy in Zambia was 51.83 years, with men having a life expectancy of 50.24 years and women 53.45 years. The under-5 mortality rate, per 1,000 births is 145 and the neonatal mortality as a percentage of under-5's mortality is 25.

The majority of those living in these small communities live in poverty and do not get the medical assistance they so desperately need.

Please help me in raising my target to make a difference to infants and childrens lives and ofcourse their parents ☺️
