Weʼre raising £500 to Raise funds for the EMOTIONAL SUPPORT and SENSORY IMPARED RAINBOW ROOMS at Northern Parade School, Portsmouth, UK

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.
Please give as much as you can afford. Every pound counts.
I'm hoping to raise a big lump of money to buy items off Northern Parade School's wishwish - specifically, The Rainbow Rooms that have limited funds to purchase resources to help children with sensory impairments, autism, disability, behavioural and emotional needs. There are a number of items that the sensory rooms would like but it important to recognise the emotional health of children too. Therefor there's a list of things that will help with that too. The school works to help all children to recognise why they are feeling the way they do and learn how to manage them ; anger, anxiety, low self esteem, grief...... and, hence enable them to do well in and out of school.
I would like to put together, a package and hand it over before the new term.
The School's wishwish includes:
Tubs of THERA PUTTY (£5 and up)
When squeezed a child can get tactile relief from feeling anxious, angry, scared.
CHEW BUDDIES (£8 and up)
Autistic children often feel the need to chew. The Buddies are a safe alternative to pencils, rulers, clothing....
The resistance bands are tied to the legs of a restless child's chair. This enables them to fidget against the band but without drawing attention.
KINDLE (£100 and up)
Used for partially sighted children to read text by changing the font style and size to suit their individual needs.
I'm not sure how well I have explained
Children with conditions like Autism often become overwhelmed by noise. The headphone block a lot of it out.
I'd like to invite you to PLEASE visit their website, to learn more about how the school helps the pupils to remain in mainstream class.
