Weʼre raising £5,000 to help fund music education for young people in Liverpool.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
At Resonate we believe that every child is entitled to high quality musical education opportunities. We believe that whatever a child's background or context they should have the chance to sing or play a musical instrument.
With your help, we want to break down the barriers that prevent young people from fulfilling their musical potential.
Here's just some of what your donation could provide for Liverpool's young people and their music education:
£3 covers a child's weekly membership fee for Resonate's Brass Band and Rock Band.
£5 covers the weekly membership fee for the Resonate Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
£50 buys a brand new violin.
£80 buys a brand new trumpet or clarinet, and £81 pays for a child's membership for Brass Band or Rock Band for a year.
£500 buys a 10-week instrumental project for a class of up to 30 pupils.
£1000 funds a year of instrumental lessons for up to 30 pupils.
Resonate, Liverpool's Music Hub, funded by Arts Council England, operates as a gateway for Liverpool's young musicians, allowing regular access to outstanding music opportunities which will impact on their lives and enhance our city.
