Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are devastated to hear that one of our TMAS fighters and black belt, Mikey Dearden aged 22, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Mike has trained with TMAS since he was 8 years old and is a fighter through and through. Even after his diagnosis he still remains positive and determined. We want to show our support for him and will raise money at our event to support the Macmillan nurses and the Lilac Centre at St Helens Hospital where he is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
We will be organising a White Collar Charity Boxing Event in the Black-e, Liverpool on Saturday 2nd June. All the fighters taking part are keen to raise as much as possible to support the fantastic work that the Macmillan nurses do as cancer has impacted everyone's lives in some shape or form. A percentage of all ticket sales, all sponsorship and donations will go towards showing Mike how much support he has to help him defeat the biggest fight of his life.
Please help us raise as much as we can by donating, sponsoring or even taking part! Every little bit helps.
EVENT: WBC VI - The Challenge, Saturday 2nd June
