Weʼre raising £2,000 to support the Southend and District Riding for the Disabled in memory of Daphne White
- 0 minutes to go
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Daphne White devoted her life to many causes across the Borough of Southend. One of the most notable of her many achievements was to lead the fundraising to construct a purpose-built Riding School for the Disabled at Belfairs. The school was opened by Princess Anne in 1974. It is still operating today. We are requesting funds in memory of Daphne White to support the contribution the school makes to the quality of life of people with disabilities across the district.
