After struggling with her own mental health whilst working as a mental health nurse, Amy turned to cycling as a lifeline. To help others in her position, she’s cycled every stage of the men’s Tour De France, including transfers, raising over £90,000 for mental health charity Shout and the Mix.

80-year-old David walked 1,200 miles from John o’Groats to Land’s End in memory of his wife Susan, who died of Alzheimer’s. His goal: to raise £76,000. One pound for every year of her life. David’s journey was not just a physical feat – it was a tribute to his deep love for his wife, and the urgent need for a cure for Alzheimer’s.

These brothers are on a mission to raise £1 million for Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of their mum and twelve other family members lost to early-onset Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Both carry the gene for FTD and are determined to fund vital research to bring hope to families affected by dementia.
