Noah Playforth

Fundraised for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

At just seven years old, Noah set himself the challenge of running a mile every day for a month to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. What started with a simple question, “How can I help the poorly kids get more money?”, grew into a remarkable fundraising effort that inspired a whole community, formed a special friendship with a child supported by the hospice and showed the extraordinary impact one young person can have.

Ella Maru

Fundraised for Educate Girls

Inspired by watching her dad train for the London Marathon, Ella set herself the challenge of completing a triathlon to raise money for girls in some of the most remote parts of India. Through swimming, cycling and running, she helped support access to education and opportunities for girls, showing how one young person can make a lasting difference to the lives of others.

Fundraised for Inclusive Orkney

Gregor was born with a neurological condition which affects his balance and motor skills. In the past six months Gregor learnt to walk short distances independently. He took on a daily challenge, ‘trying loops around the hoose’ to raise money for Inclusive Orkney who provides activities and events for children with additional support needs and their families.

George Romer-Lee​

Fundraised for The Brain Tumour Charity​

George took on a 12-hour drumathon in memory of his childhood friend Lizzie, who sadly died from a brain tumour. Playing non-stop throughout the challenge, he raised vital funds for brain tumour research and brought his community together to honour Lizzie’s memory, showing how one person’s determination can make a lasting difference.
