CAP Yorkshire Challenge 2021

Raising money for Christians Against Poverty

At Christians Against Poverty, we equip local churches to support people facing debt and other financial challenges. We campaign for a redesigned society that works for everyone, including those on the lowest incomes. Find out more about us at capuk.org or follow us on social media.

Story

We are a group of friends and family who LOVE Christians Against Poverty! Why not combine that with our love for running we thought.... In comes the Yorkshire Challenge! 28Km of brutal Yorkshire countryside to test us to the limit!

You don't know who CAP is I hear you say? We are biased since some of us work there, but CAP is an amazing charity that meets people right where they are (20,000 people a year actually). Our clients are often in sheer desperation, weighed down by debt and everything else life can throw at them. It's got "Christians" in the name because the charity is run by Christians, and the regional centres are run via local churches, but we help people of all faith and none, with zero discrimination!

But don't take my word for it, here's what some "famous people" have got to say about us: https://capuk.org/our-impact/what-others-say.
