Salaam! (Peace!)
This year on Sunday 12th November, IMED will be climbing Pen-y-Fan to raise funds and awareness for the on-going cholera epidemic in Yemen. Nearly 35 million people are currently lacking basic sanitation, clean water and an adequate food supply; and with over 14 million in desperate need of medical care, the crisis will worsen without your help today.
IMED is a student led society at the University of Birmingham, committed to helping causes both locally and internationally.
On Sunday 12th November we will travel to climb Pen y Fan; at nearly 900 metres, the highest peak in South Wales boasts stunning panoramas from the summit of over 80km.
