Saturday 22nd December was every parents worst nightmare. Rachael was walking through town wihh her 6 month baby in the pushchair and 7 year old daughter. Rachael and her children were hit by a car and has suffered some long recovery injuries.

At that time Rachael had no idea how her children were and even if they were going to be OK. Thankfully they are physically going to be OK. However 3 days before Christmas they won't have their mummy when they will need her the most.

Sam works incredibly hard to provide for his family but with increased pressure now with being the sole carer while Rachael is recovering this will put huge pressure on the family. Kobi is 6 months old and will desperately need his mummy as well as Louie and skye.

As Melksham is a small but huge hearted community we would like to help by providing the family a new pushchair that was crushed in the accident and enable Sam to take the children to visit Rachael in hospital in Bristol without worrying about the costs of petrol.

I know this time of the year is incredibly tight for everyone but absolutley anything you can spare will go such a long way.

I know the family would be eternally grateful for anything.
