Rising Star Award
This award is for the young fundraisers who showed up, spoke out, and proved that passion beats age every time.
The next-gen changemakers are here, and they’re just getting started.
FINALIST
Alice Cadman
Fundraised for her best friend, Sophia
At just 8 years old, Alice set out to walk 369 miles – the same distance from her best friend, Sophia’s house to Disneyland. Why? To help her celebrate finishing chemo. Powered by a love of slime, tea, and unstoppable friendship, Alice’s fundraiser raised over £1,700 and proved that even little feet can make a big impact.

FINALIST
Kirsty Waugh
Fundraised for Children with Cancer UK
Imagine starting to lose your eyesight and not being able to remember what day it is. That was 11-year-old Kirsty’s reality, but she decided to turn her brain tumour diagnosis into a mission of hope. She is crocheting one bunting triangle for each week of her 70-week chemotherapy treatment, raising over £39,000 so far to help other children with cancer.

FINALIST
Lily Blackburn
Fundraised for Haven House Children’s Hospice
At just 12 years old, Lily is defying expectations and climbing mountains to support seriously ill children. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age 2, doctors once believed Lily would never walk on her own. Now she’s taking on Mount Snowdon to support Haven House Children’s Hospice, with over £2,600 raised so far.

FINALIST
Sami & Rafi
Fundraised for NHS Charities Together, NSPCC and Comic Relief
Brothers Sami (14) and Rafi (9) are no strangers to fundraising. Most recently, they took on a triathlon to celebrate 40 years of Comic Relief, covering over 340 miles in a smile-shaped route across the UK. Their mission? To put smiles on people’s faces and shine a light on amazing causes, with over £4,300 raised for their chosen charities.
