The Who is Hussain London team are pleased to announce our event as part of this year’s campaign!
Homelessness is a real issue in the society that we live in today and government statistics state that in London alone, 6,437 people slept rough throughout 2012/13 - a 62 per cent rise in just two years!
With this in mind, the Who is Hussain London team have organised an event on Friday 22nd November 2013 in London to raise awareness of the growing issue of homlessness and to help those in need around London.
The event will start at 7.30pm at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies - nearest tube station: Russell Square) to have dinner with the homeless followed by a sponsored sleep out to raise funds for a local charity St Mungo’s that aims to tackle the issue of homelessness and to help them to get back onto their feet.
We are expecting over 100 homeless people on the day and we would love if you were able to share the evening with us!
Please do register at: http://bit.ly/19aYvnG and please help us raise funds through the sponsored sleep out for St Mungo’s!
Homelessness is an issue that affects us all and we hope we can make a difference and raise awareness of this growing issue.
This event is open to those aged 18 and over.
