In August, Charlie, who is just 6 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This has required a 6 week admission, along with several operations and he has just completed a 6 week course of radiotherapy.

Moira, his mum, who is a self-employed single parent has been unable to work since the summer, as she has been by his side throughout either the hospital ward or travelling to/from Birmingham daily for treatment. Charlie has a 10 year old big sister, Bella.

After Christmas, Charlie will be admitted for 4 months for gruelling Chemotherapy. His Mum will stay with him for the entirety of this treatment.
This has, and will continue to, impact financially, emotionally and physically on Moira and consequently both of her Children.

This family needs our help.

My gorgeous children and I are half-way through a really difficult part of our journey but we are sticking together and "kicking ass" to Charlie's cancer diagnosis!!

My 6 year old son is a true hero!! He has coped with so much in the past 6 months....things I pray your children/grandchildren will never have to endure in their lifetime. He has had endless injections, been woken for surgery at night, had medicines thrown at him left, right & centre, disturbed for observations during the night, doctors constantly examining, poking & prodding & chemo drugs given which make him feel unwell AND DESPITE THIS HE STILL SMILES AND TELLS ME THAT HE LOVES ME EVERY DAY.
