On Saturday 2nd December a BAE Systems team will brave the mud and the elements to take part in the GRIM Challenge to raise money our charity partner Combat Stress. Our colleagues will run either 4 miles, 8 miles or 16 miles.
BAE Systems will match, pound-for-pound, all the funds that the team collectively raise on the run so please show your support.
BAE Systems has a long history of supporting Combat Stress with £300,000 of company donations since 2013, as well as many instances of employee fundraising and volunteering activity.
The Company is committed to supporting the armed forces and our local communities. Through our fundraising at his event we will be contributing to a facility that supports our ex-servicemen and women by treating a range of mental health conditions including PTSD, depression and anxiety. Combat Stress is the UK's leading veterans' mental health charity.
Mental health issues can affect ex-servicemen and women of all ages. Right now, Combat Stress have more than 6,000 veterans registered with them for support. They’re a vital lifeline for these veterans, and their families.
Please give generously and show your support for an amazing charity and a hardcore group of runners taking on this filthy challenge.
