MOO employs nearly 600 people across 6 offices, the furthest being our HQ in London and our office in Denver, Colorado, some 4,658 miles apart. In July the whole company will be running for charity, in an attempt to collectively run this distance. We are calling it the LON>DEN MARATHON.
Each MOORunner will complete their own running challenge: a marathon, a 10k or simply trying to clock up as many miles as they can in the month. In addition to their individual fundraising efforts MOO and some of our partners will be donating £1 per mile run to World Mental Health Day, so every mile will count in this month-long challenge.
The World Federation for Mental Health is an amazing organisation that has been raising awareness for mental health for the last 70 years. This year, the theme for World Mental Health Day is suicide prevention. According to the World Health Organisation, more than 800,000 die by suicide each year, making it the principal cause of death among people fifteen to twenty-nine years old.
