Leeds RAG National 3 Peaks Challenge 13/14

Story

We're a group of Leeds University students who are all keen for a challenge and want to raise money for our local cancer charity, Yorkshire Cancer Centre.

On Monday 9th June we shall be setting off to Scotland where we shall begin the gruelling challenge of the National 3 Peaks. This consists of climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, all in 24 hours!

In preparation for this we shall be going on training walks around Yorkshire, even tackling a few of the yorkshire peaks, and doing as much as we can to fundraise in the process! Each participant has a target of £300 to raise, so between the 30-40 participants on the challenge we aim to make a difference (however small) to those at Yorkshire Cancer Centre.
