In November 2013, 35 colleagues from across Lloyds Banking Group took on the tough challenge of cycling 500km across Costa Rica to raise vital funds for the Live Well campaign.
Thanks to their determination and the support of wonderful family, friends and colleagues they smashed their fundraising target of £200,000 in just 6 months!
Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Scotland have launched the first UK wide dementia carers programme.
Raising in excess of £200,000 has meant 1,500 family carers will have support through this pioneering programme of information, peer support and workshops. Making sure no one faces dementia alone helping them and their loved ones to live well.
The team went to incredible efforts to achieve this, showing what can be achieved with determined attitudes and team spirit supporting each other all the way.
