We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am cycling the London loop route in support of The John
Thornton Young Achievers Foundation that honours the life of Lt John ‘JT’ Thornton. Serving in the Royal Marines John Thornton tragically lost his life in southern Afghanistan on 30th March 2008.

The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.

I am proud to be supporting a charity that provides such fantastic support for young people and in memory of such a great man.

About the charity

The objective of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation is to encourage and assist young people to 'climb as high as they can dream', by providing annual scholarships and bursaries for their training and personal development in the pursuit of their ambitions.
