Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 11th 2015 I am cycling 230 miles from Bury FC, Gigg Lane, Bury, Lancashire to Bury Town FC, Ram Meadow, Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Suffolk.  I have been involved in raising money for Macmillan for 10 years by organising an industry charity golf day, we have raised over £50,000 and will continue to do this, however, this is a bit more challenging and the proceeds will go to a charity a little closer to home this time - 'Breakthrough Cancer Suffolk'.

Recently, a very close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer and for those of you that have had that terrible experience you will know the devastating impact that has on the individual and family.

So, time to get on my bike and see what I can raise.... technically it is down hill, however, the wind resistance my considerable frame creates will negate that benefit.

Please donate what ever you can, even if it is just to see pictures of me in pain, in Lycra or both.....

I have set myself a really tough goal of raising £5k.... so please donate whatever you possibly can, I will be extremely grateful and my thanks in advance.
