Story
We are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October for FIRST TOUCH to say thank you for his care and to raise money for the incredible things that they provide and do for other families dealing with the challenges that a sick and premature baby brings.
Eoghan was born at St George's Hospital at 36 weeks, a tiny 1.8kgs on the 27th August 2014. He was resuscitated and went to theatre to have part of his bowel removed. He was in ICU for 6 days and Neonate HDU for 3 weeks. It was a very frightening time for us but we were incredibly lucky to be in such a wonderful hospital with incredible facilities. Everyone from the nurses, doctors, to the cleaners were amazing.
We wanted a way to say thank you to FIRST TOUCH as it supports the sick and premature babies cared for in the neonatal unit. The charity raises funds for vital medical equipment and patient welfare. It is amazing to see how many babies benefit from this incredible charity. We are very grateful for everything.
Thank you so much for your support.
