Story

The Baby Unit at Tameside Hospital has helped many families in the Broadoak community, each day the staff at Tameside work miracles to save the lives of these tiny babies.

No fewer than 19 members of staff from Broadoak Primary School have now signed up to take part in the Wilmslow triathlon on 17th May. The team are now in training and we hope to raise as much money as possible for the babies and their families.

We have been in touch with the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit and have been told that the money we raise will go directly towards upgrading vital monitoring equipment for the new borns.

The Great British Challenge!

To support the staff in this huge challenge, the children of Broadoak are getting on board with the fundraising spirit. They are taking part in The Great British Challenge! In addition to our annual sports day, the children will be sponsored to collectively cycle the b equivalent of the length of Britain, run the width of Britain and climb the highest mountain!

What an exciting time it is at Broadoak :)
