Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Despite vowing never to complete another Marathon, after virtually crawling over the finish line in the 2014 London Marathon, I decided to participate in the Hull Marathon taking place on the 13th September 2015.
I was very impressed by the passion shown by the Alzheimer’s Society , and also by the fact that in addition to the support services they offer, one of the main aims of the charity is to fund research with a view to ultimately discovering a cure for dementia. Many of us have experience of friends or relatives who have had to deal with the problems that dementia causes for both the individual suffering the disease and the members of his or her family. Imagine the suffering that would be avoided if one day a cure is found. I think it is a great charity and I thank you for any donation you can make to my page.
