Story

Thank you for visiting the JustGiving page for Charlotte’s “Little Something” charitable fund.

Charlotte was passionate about her work in perinatal mental health. Developing a mental health disorder at any time can be overwhelming but when this occurs during or after pregnancy, the situation has the potential to be life-changing for both mother and baby. Charlotte stood alongside women, babies and their families at the height of their distress. With compassion, skill and hope she provided a light at the end of many tunnels, and empowered women on their road to recovery.

In Charlotte’s memory, we have established the “Little Something” fund to support the work of the Devon NHS Perinatal Mental Health team that Charlotte was a part of, and help many more families in the months and years to come.

The “Little Something” name comes from the Above & Beyond song of the same title, featuring Justine Suissa. Charlotte (whose brother Jono is part the band) loved the song and felt the lyrics really captured the essence of her work.

Above & Beyond performed a benefit gig at Wembley Arena in November 2015, raising over £200,000 including a sum of £40,000 received in the summer of 2017 following the Government's waiver of VAT on ticket sales. The latter sum has been used in a collaboration with Bluebell Care to offer courses and free crèche provision for mums with post-natal, ante natal depression and/or anxiety in the Devon area.

A donation made through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure, Your personal details are protected.

Thank you for any donation that you choose to make to Charlotte's fund, which is sent directly to the Devon Partnership NHS Trust Special Charity to carry on Charlotte's work in perinatal care and family wellbeing.
