I am raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support - they have provided me with support which changed the way I dealt with my illness and have really highlighted to me how important they are for anyone who is going through any form of cancer treatment, not just the individual but their families also. I am raising money to be able to give something back to them and to raise awareness of the importance of checking your body regularly. In my case, my testicular cancer is 99% curable if caught early. It is a real necessity to not be frightened or embarrassed to get any unusual lumps or bumps checked out by the GP.
