We support children with brain injuries to improve their quality of life.

Story

Malcolm C Foy & Co are a high street firm of Solicitors with first-hand experience of working with children who, following life changing accidents, suffer from traumatic brain injuries. As a result of assisting our client’s in such cases we are aware of the vitally important work carried out by the Child Brain Injury Trust.

Whilst the Child Brain Injury Trust supports children all over the UK, it also provides a Regional Child & Family Support Co-ordinator, Sarah Knada, who works directly with children who are admitted to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital or to the Leeds General Infirmary.  It doesn't matter how the child acquired their brain injury, whether as a result of a road traffic or other accident or further to an illness, such as a stroke or a brain tumour, the Child Brain Injury Trust is there for the child and their family for as long as they need them.  Sarah Knada offers support to both children and their families from the point that they are admitted to hospital, until such time that that the family  no longer needs her support, however long that may be.

It is in recognition of the Child Brain Injury Trust’s essential work that Malcolm C Foy & Co has chosen them as our charity for the Doncaster Athletics Club Sandall Beat Trail 10k taking place on the 10th June 2015. We have 16 runners from the firm, all of vastly varying ability, who will complete the course. As such we would be very grateful if you could show your support for this fantastic charity, and our spirited runners, by donating.

On behalf of our runners, and the Child Brain Injury Trust, we thank you for anything that you are willing and able to kindly donate.

Thanks
