We were inspired to have a go at this by a friend who did the ride last summer , and chose to support Centrepoint because they do so much to protect and support many vulnerable and homeless young people. Centrepoint provides a safe place to live for more than 1,000 young people, aged 16-25, every year in London and the North East of England. For up to two years they help young people get their lives back on track. They provide : crucial Housing and Shelter - and so much more : Learning Support , Employment Support , Health Services and Education .

Housing and shelter - giving a young person a place to stay is the first of many steps toward overcoming their homelessness in the long term.

Leaning support - for example money skills , access to education , access sports and recreation , to ICT  

Workwise - accredited support into employment and work related opportunities

Heath Services and education - to overcome the mental and physical damage caused by homelessness and abuse

Support - ongoing , when they have moved on to independent living
