Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

I am doing this because in my area (West Craven/ Christian Aid North West) there is to be no community sponsored walk, for the first time for 48 years. I am recently (early) retired, and have been involved with these walks for the last 48 years,  both as a walker and a planner/committee member/ treasurer, and am  hoping that I can raise similar amounts to what we raised through the walks, which are having to be discontinued due to lack of manpower.

Whilst not intending doing all 70 Munroe's, which are Scottish mountains above  3,000 ft, I am hoping to to be involved in at least 20, therefore, I am are invited you to sponsor me for as much, or as little, as you can afford, but I am hoping to raise, for Christian Aid, the equivalent to what West Craven Area  has raised over the past few years which is £2,000.

Therefore in anticipation,

 thank you for your sponsorship.
